CSA Basketball Rules

CSA RULES:

For all teams that travel throughout the Parish, the Parish Rules Apply.  For all teams who play only CSA teams (CSA in house leagues) CSA modifies the Parish Basketball rules as follows:

Playing Time

For all teams, U-8 and above, who play only CSA teams (CSA in house leagues), Rule 15 regarding Playing Time is modified as follows:  Each player must play one quarter in the 1st half and must play one quarter in the 2nd half.  Therefore, there will be no substitutions in the first or third quarters, unless due to injury or fouling out.  Any player not playing in the first quarter must play the entire second quarter and any player not playing in the third quarter must play the entire fourth quarter.

3 Point Shot:

For the U-12 boys, who play only CSA teams (CSA in house league), Rule 4(k) of the Parish rules regarding Regulation Game is modified to allow 3 point shots.
